Instrument Overview
The meat moisture meter measures the moisture content of raw meat by injecting high-frequency electrical signals into the sample and receiving the echoes. Compared with the infrared drying method (rapid method) in Section 5.2 of the GB18394-2020 national standard document, it is faster and more convenient. It has the advantages of no need for sample preparation, rapid detection and easy operation.
Technical indicators
The moisture content of raw meat can be tested for four types of samples: chicken, pork, beef and mutton.
The detection is carried out by using the AC impedance method, which involves injecting high-frequency electrical signals into fresh meat for measurement. It has the advantages of fast detection speed, good repeatability, and minimal damage to the sample.
